Hornberger Firearms & the Traditional Sportsman is an antique dealer specializing in early firearms, sporting art and antiques. We show at both gun shows and antique shows in Eastern United States. We appraise early firearms and sporting art, as well as representing collectors and investors at auctions. In addition, we advise collectors on the care of their collections along with arranging for and managing any restoration of their items.

FIREARMS: We specialize in American long rifles, primarily those made in Pennsylvania before 1850. We also offer high quality early British and Continental firearms. The selection includes pistols, powder horns and accoutrements with the collection made up of items from the 18th and early 19th century - the period of development when firearms were hand -made works of art.

SPORTING ART & ANTIQUES: The Traditional Sportsman offers prints, paintings and antiques from the golden era of sporting. The items are primarily related to the kind the British call “gentlemen’s sports” - pursuits such as shooting, fox hunting, fly fishing, yachting and a variety of field sports are included in the collection.
